The Kid (1921)

This is a classic Charlie Chaplin movie in which The Tramp finds an abandoned baby by a garbage can and saves it to raise as his own. The baby was put in the back of a limousine by the mother with a note beseeching anyone to take care of the baby. The limo is stolen and the thieves dump the baby in a trash can. While having to overcome many challenges, The Tramp raises the baby for five years and comes to love it. The mother becomes rich and famous and comes back looking for her abandoned baby, offering a reward.
