Nosferatu (1922)

Thom Hutter is a real estate agent who's been sent to Transylvania to court an unusual but potentially well-paying client known as Count Orlok. The agency has asked Hutter to sell a home directly across the street from Hutter's home, but Hutter has reservations when he sees the way that Orlok ogles his wife's picture. Hutter is imprisoned before he can pose a threat, and Orlok travels to his new home with his sights see on Hutter's wife. The town senses an evil is coming, but it's flush with death by the time that Hutter manages to make his way back.
