Varsham (2004)

In the heartland of Warangal, a stirring love story unfolds between two youthful souls, Venkat and Sailaja. Their burgeoning romance, however, is overshadowed by the menacing presence of Bhadranna, a ruthless landlord notorious for his dread in the Nizam region. His infatuation with Sailaja leads him to concoct a vicious plan to make her his own. Sailaja's father, Ranga Rao, a man notorious for his vices, is enticed by Bhadranna's wealth, and is willing to sacrifice his daughter's happiness for monetary gain. He masterfully sows seeds of discord between Venkat and Sailaja, creating an inferno of ego clashes that threatens to extinguish their love. When Bhadranna kidnaps Sailaja in the midst of this turmoil, the narrative pivots. Now, the plot revolves around Venkat's audacious mission to rescue his love from Bhadranna's fortress.
