Licence to Kill (1989)

Special agent James Bond is dealing with a case that's personal. His American counterpart and close friend, Felix Leiter, has been mutilated and had his wife killed by a drug lord named Franz Sanchez. Bond's attempt to get revenge is renounced by MI6, and he's eventually stripped of his license to kill. With no agency oversight, Bond is more dangerous than ever before. Through the use of one of Felix's friends, 007 manages to infiltrate Sanchez's operation posing as an assassin. But working with no leash means that he's flirting dangerously close with turning to the wrong side of the law.
