GoldenEye (1995)

The movie starts with a flashback and the presumed death of 007's partner, 006. Moving to the present, the film tracks the adventures of James Bond as he attempts to investigate the use of a new and potentially devastating electromagnetic weapon that is capable of knocking out huge chunks of the electric grid across the world. The attack is being conducted by the Janus crime syndicate, which is led by Alex Trevelyan - the former 006. Bond must work with Natalya Simonova, who survived the original attack that led to the GoldenEye satellite falling into Janus' hands.
