Trainspotting (1996)

Trainspotting centers on Renton, an Edinburgh lad deep in the drug scene. His underage girlfriend and group of unreliable friends go through endless sobriety attempts with him until he finally gets fed up. Renton gets clean and moves from Edinburgh to London in an attempt to escape his old friends and old life. But when they relentlessly show up at his new doorstep, he realizes getting away from his lifestyle won’t be easy.
