Plot

In the heart of London, Rachel, a kind-hearted woman with a predictable life, is making the final preparations to marry her longtime lover, Heck. Their love story is as traditional as they come, but as they stand on the precipice of their new life together, an unexpected encounter threatens to unravel everything. Enter Luce, an enchanting wedding florist, who captivates Rachel with her vivacious spirit and unconventional approach to love. As Rachel and Luce's paths intertwine in the flurry of wedding festivities, a spark ignites. Initially, Rachel attempts to play matchmaker, trying to pair Luce with Heck's friend, Cooper. But she is taken aback when she discovers that Luce is a lesbian. This revelation stirs something within Rachel, compelling her to question the boundaries of her own sexuality and the confines of her planned future. As the newlyweds navigate the everyday joys and challenges of married life, Rachel finds herself torn between the comfort of her past and the exciting uncertainty of a new passion. She grapples with hiding this secret from her family, particularly her mother Tessa, oblivious to Rachel's blossoming feelings for the woman she hired for the wedding. Simultaneously, Heck strives to win over his new in-laws, especially his challenging father-in-law Ned, oblivious to the emotional turmoil unfolding within his wife's heart. Rachel is faced with an impossible choice: to remain in the security of her marriage with the beloved Heck, or to pursue the exhilarating, yet complicated love she has found with Luce. This captivating tale of love and self-discovery weaves a complex web of emotions, challenging the viewer to question what it truly means to live authentically and love deeply.
