Plot

In the heartwarming town of Danbury Falls, Vermont, where the roots of family and tradition run deep, Molly Logan and Lucas Bishop's lives are entwined with a tale of love, dreams, and a Christmas tree. The Logans, founders of the town, and the custodians of a cherished Christmas tree farm, are where Molly's story begins. As a child, she dreamt of becoming a writer, while Lucas was captivated by the world through a camera lens. However, their dreams led to their breakup when Lucas chose not to follow Molly to New York, where she hoped they would chase their ambitions together. After acquiring an MBA, Lucas returned to Danbury Falls, trading his camera for a desk at the bank. Meanwhile, Molly found herself in the bustling world of a publishing house, laboring under her recently widowed boss, Walter Dunlap, who sees her more as a full-time nanny for his daughters, Victoria and Sofia, than an assistant. Her dreams of writing are put on hold as she gets entangled in Walter's life, especially when he entrusts her with preparing his house for Christmas. The holiday season takes an unexpected turn when Molly discovers that the Christmas tree delivered to the Dunlap house is none other than the "Charlie Brown" tree she saved two decades ago on her family's farm. A tree she and Lucas lovingly named "Molly's tree". Simultaneously, she learns about the impending foreclosure on her family's tree farm and their struggle to prevent it from being transformed into a golf resort. Seeing this as a sign, Molly abandons her duties in New York and returns to Danbury Falls, determined to rescue the farm. Her journey brings her face-to-face with Lucas, who is spearheading the search for investors for the golf resort project. As she strives to save her family's legacy and bring back the Christmas spirit to her town, Molly also attempts to rekindle the magic of Christmas in the hearts of Lucas and Walter. But standing in her way is Mr. Bishop, Lucas's father, who believes in the surety of profit over passion and dreams. Will Molly's Christmas tree, the symbol of her past, be the beacon of hope that saves her future? Only time will tell in this heartwarming tale of love, dreams, and the magic of Christmas.
