Plot

In the bone-chilling winter of Maine, far from the sunny familiarity of California, ten-year-old Finn Baxter finds himself in a peculiar predicament. A passionate video-gamer with a vivid imagination, Finn is convinced that their newly-acquired home is teeming with otherworldly specters. In an attempt to unmask the unseen intruder, Finn constructs an ingenious labyrinth of booby traps, his digital dexterity coming to life in a real-world setting. As fate would have it, Finn and his older sister, Alexis, find themselves home alone; their parents stranded at a far-off Christmas party thanks to a relentless snowstorm. Unbeknownst to the Baxter siblings, a trio of art-thieves have set their sinister sights on their seemingly deserted abode. The stage is set for a night of adrenaline-fueled adventure and unexpected heroics. With their parents lost in the stormy night and the questionable presence of spirits, the house takes on a life of its own. The Baxters' dark basement becomes the epicenter of mystery, spurring Finn and Alexis into action. As the lines blur between Finn's fears and reality, the siblings must outsmart the burglars and uncover the truth about their haunted house. Will they rise to the challenge, or will the secrets lurking in their basement remain buried forever? The holiday heist is on, and it's a festive fright night that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
