The Santa Clause (1994)

Scott Calvin's ex-wife is determined to teach their son, Charlie, that Santa Claus isn't real. For Scott, six years old is far too young to have Christmas magic banished, so he tries to convince a doubtful Charlie that Jolly Old Saint Nick is real. He's aided by an appearance from the man himself, but when Santa Claus is injured, Scott has to put on the red suit and pick up the sleigh reins by himself. Can this new Santa save Christmas before it's too late?
