Plot
Michael Kovak is nearly at the point of giving up his vows as a priest, but his mentor convinces him to visit the Vatican and study exorcism. Michael struggles at first with his faith, but his convictions begin to change upon encountering Father Lucas. Lucas may use harshly unconventional means to perform exorcisms, but he gets results. Soon, he's seeing demonic and angelic forces all around him. He may not believe, but he has good reason to question the forces around him. If evil is out there, his agnosticism could potentially save him, or it could leave him completely unprotected.
