In her forties, Christine leads a difficult life. She wakes up every day with no history of who she is or where she is. She has no recollection of the person in her bed and can't remember anything from her 20s to present. Every morning, a man calls her and reminds her to watch a tape that explains everything. She does, and for a long time that was enough for her. However, eventually, she begins to remember things she can't explain, which makes her question everything she's been told.
