Plot
In the frosty expanse of Yukon Territory, 1894, the Northwest Mounted Police dispatch Corporal Wade Grayling to a secluded region where the Commonwealth aspires to construct a fort. His arrival paints a chilling tableau; a man hanging lifeless, his death knotted to a nearby encampment of primarily Latvian and Russian Cossacks. They are led by Olaf, their stern religious figure, who admits to the execution of the mountain man for theft, his body a grim deterrent for potential thieves.
The news of the impending fort construction on their claimed land sparks hostility among Olaf and his men. Grayling, through a skirmish with visiting Cossacks, uncovers the sinister truth behind their resistance - an economy rooted in the opium trade, nurtured and harvested by Olaf himself. Grayling has a shadowy past with the opium trade, adding an extra layer of complexity to his mission.
As Grayling pieces together the intricate puzzle of corruption, he finds himself thrust into a deadly war against Olaf and his men. His mission? To dismantle the opium business, restore law and order, and shield the innocent - particularly Olaf's daughters, Amethyst, who marred her beauty to retain emotional safety, and young Cleora, who develops a bond with their crimson-coated savior.
This lone Mountie's journey to cleanse the town of its vicious cycle of crime becomes a brutal showdown, the likes of which the town has never witnessed. In the face of rampant illegal activities and a deeply entrenched criminal network, Grayling prepares to confront and eradicate the malefactors, sparking an unprecedented battle for justice in this remote wilderness.
