Seven Samurai (1954)

In 16th-century Japan, farmers are having trouble with a gang of bandits stealing their crops. The farmers have very little to offer, but a ronin, or samurai without a master, agrees to help them and recruits six others. The samurai and the frightened villagers slowly learn to trust one another, but they still have a big challenge ahead in defending the village from the bandits.

Seven Samurai is an action movie featuring Toshirō Mifune and directed by Akira Kurosawa.
