Rain Man (1988)

Slick hustler Charlie Babbitt is in the middle of trying to score a big business deal over imported cars when he suddenly receives word that his estranged father has passed away. Facing the prospect of massive debt, Charlie is eager to inherit the $3 million estate left behind. But he soon finds that the bulk of the inheritance will go to a previously unknown older brother, Raymond, an autistic savant who’s being held in a mental institution. Although his motives are not entirely altruistic, Charlie attempts to gain custody of Raymond by trying to connect emotionally with his older brother and accept him for who he is.
