Plot

In the heart of an aging apartment complex, Marvin relishes his newfound independence, frequently sharing his space with his girlfriend, Pinky. The building's creaking charm is marred only by the ominous sounds echoing from a distant unit, making the nearly perfect sanctuary feel eerily unsettling. This noise is an unsettling symphony of domestic discord from the home of Anna, her young daughter Lara, and her increasingly jealous husband Bert, a stern cop. Bert's fiery jealousy frequently flares into bouts of violence that reverberate throughout the apartment's hushed hallways, often jolting Marvin from sleep. Despite Marvin's pleas, the building's bleary-eyed caretaker dismisses the disturbances, advising him to turn a deaf ear to the couple's tumultuous tirades. Anna and her daughter find a fleeting safe haven in the apartment of Jude, a kind-hearted neighbor living midway down the long corridor. As the violence intensifies, Pinky visits Marvin, only to find an unknown woman at his door. Misreading the situation, she suspects Marvin of infidelity, believing this explains his recent peculiar behavior. Marvin fervently denies the accusations, attributing his strange demeanor to the eerie happenings in his apartment. Marvin's curiosity about the volatile couple escalates as he witnesses Bert's brutal pursuit of Anna in the dimly lit corridor. The violence gnaws at Marvin's peace, compelling him to unearth the truth about the couple. The shocking revelation he uncovers rattles his world, ensnaring him and Pinky in a spectral whirlwind that refuses to dissipate. Haunted and harried, Marvin attempts to flee his apartment, but the spectral forces cling to him like a shadow. Resolute, Marvin decides to face the lurking malevolence head-on, returning to the old apartment building to confront the evil that has seeped into its walls. His final encounter shakes his foundational understanding of life, love, and the beyond, leaving him teetering on the precipice of fear and truth.
