In the heart of an aging apartment complex, Marvin relishes his newfound independence, frequently sharing his space with his girlfriend, Pinky. The building's creaking charm is marred only by the ominous sounds echoing from a distant unit, making the nearly perfect sanctuary feel eerily unsettling. This noise is an unsettling symphony of domestic discord from the home of Anna, her young daughter Lara, and her increasingly jealous husband Bert, a stern cop.
Bert's fiery jealousy frequently flares into bouts of violence that reverberate throughout the apartment's hushed hallways, often jolting Marvin from sleep.
