Plot

Adrift in the throes of teenage angst, high-schooler Bernard grapples with the revelation that he is the byproduct of his mother's fleeting affair. He harbors resentment towards the man who raised him, who is not his biological father. Fleeing the confines of his home, he seeks solace with his friend Olivier, a gentle soul yearning for affection, which he seeks in the company of his Uncle Edouard. An unspoken attraction simmers between the two, their emotions held captive by their inability to articulate their feelings. Destiny weaves its delicate threads, placing Bernard in the role of Edouard's secretary, an opportunity that whisks them both away to the tranquillity of the mountains. However, this peaceful solitude is disrupted when Olivier, in a fit of jealousy, succumbs to the charm of the Comte de Passavant, a wealthy yet jaded writer known for his manipulative demeanor. The Count's sinister influence corrupts Olivier, transforming him into a cruel and detestable person. Olivier spirals into a chasm of despair, trapped in a labyrinth of his own making, desperate to find an escape but unsure of the path to redemption.
