Plot

In the tumultuous year of 1972, amid the heart of the Vietnam War, a band of resilient United States Marines embarks on a treacherous mission to liberate several captive comrades. Their destination, an ostensibly safe Landing Zone (LZ), swiftly morphs into a blistering hotbed of danger, its stillness shattered by the violent cacophony of war. In the aftermath of a fierce encounter, only four soldiers remain, their ranks slashed by the merciless blade of battle. Their hope of reinforcement is crushed when the platoon set to unite with them the following day is completely obliterated, save for a solitary, unhinged survivor. This revelation leads the quartet to a chilling realization: they are mere sacrificial pawns in a larger, unforgiving game of war. As they navigate the hostile terrain, their journey is punctuated by intense dialogues, heated disagreements, and sudden outbreaks of violence. Amidst this chaos, each soldier is haunted by poignant flashbacks of their humbler past lives before the Corps claimed them. These echoes of simpler times serve as stark contrasts to their present reality, painting a compelling portrait of their individual and collective struggle.
