Red Tails (2012)

As the world fights a war against the Nazi notion of racial superiority, American forces on the ground and in the sky are segregated. The Tuskegee Airmen represent the only blacks squadron of airmen in the United State Air Force, but they've spent almost their entire time grounded due to racism. But when circumstances provide them with an opportunity to prove themselves in battle, they grab for it with relish. Their superiors would rather they not be remembered, but the daring series of missions the Red Tails undergo make them an impossible group of heroes to forget.
