In the rugged depths of Afghanistan, the fearless French journalist Elsa, alongside her equally intrepid colleague Amen, embarks on a daring mission to expose the harrowing tale of Maina, a woman traded into marriage as a mere child. Their pursuit of truth, however, lands them in the cold grasp of the brutal Taliban chief, Ahmed Zaief, whose sinister schemes involve using them as pawns to deliver a chilling message to the Western world. In response, the French president authorizes a high-stakes rescue mission, deploying a six-man Special Forces team deep into enemy territory. Led by the indomitable Commander Kovax and backed by a diverse roster including the sharpshooter Elias, the stalwart Lucas, and the resolute duo of Victor and Marius, they manage to free Elsa and Amen from their stone-walled prison fortress nestled in Pakistan's treacherous terrain. However, the operation takes a perilous turn when they lose their only link to the outside world – their radios. Stranded and pursued relentlessly by the Taliban, the group must navigate the unforgiving Afghan landscape in a desperate bid for survival. With each step, they battle not only their external enemies but also the creeping shadows of fear and doubt within their ranks. This is a gripping tale of courage, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of truth in the face of overwhelming odds.
