Plot

In the heart of Warsaw, Joseph and Maria Tura are the dazzling stars of their own theatre company, basking in the warmth of the spotlight and the adoration of an army of enthusiasts, including the young and gallant air force lieutenant, Stanislav Sobinski. However, the world they know is turned upside down when the Nazis storm Poland, igniting the cataclysm of World War II. Amidst the chaos, Sobinski and his comrades escape to England, leaving the Turas wrestling with the harsh realities and severe restrictions of life under Nazi rule, forcing them to abandon their humorous theatrical masterpiece about Adolf Hitler. In the safety of England, Sobinski and his fellow exiles entrust Professor Siletski with their closest relatives' contact details, hoping he can deliver messages to their loved ones back home. But when they learn that Siletski is a sinister German spy, Sobinski plunges back into the lion's den, parachuting into Poland. With the fate of their families hanging in the balance, Sobinski turns to the Turas and their acting troupe, drawing them into a daring plot to retrieve the precious list. As the curtain rises on their most critical performance yet, the stage is set for a thrilling blend of suspense, drama, and a dash of comedic relief.
