Lambeau Fields, a man mired in mediocrity and marked by an abysmal record, is considered the worst sports coach in history. Despite his past shortcomings, he yearns for redemption and a chance to rewrite his narrative. Encouraged by his friend, Freddie Wiseman, Coach Fields embarks on a journey from being a washed-up coach to aiming for the apex of sports glory. He moves his family to the humble town of Plainfolk, Texas, promising his devoted wife, Barb, that he'll strike a balance between his personal life and his coaching ambitions.
