In the quaint town of Broken Ridge, Colorado, a fateful 4th of July brings together a group of teenagers - Colby, his girlfriend Amber, and their companions Zoe, Roger, and PJ. They decide to bring to life a local legend, the tale of the Fisherman, a phantom who targets teens with guilty secrets, wielding a deadly hook. Their playful prank, staged in a local amusement park, takes a tragic turn when PJ, attempting a daring skateboard stunt, meets with a fatal accident. Haunted by their friend's untimely demise, the group makes a pact to bury this secret deep within their hearts.
