Rocky (1976)

One of the most popular films ever set in the city of Philadelphia, Rocky revolves around the story of part-time boxer and debt collector Rocky Balboa, whose entire world is transformed overnight by a sudden invitation to challenge the heavyweight champion, Apollo Creed, for America’s bicentennial anniversary. Set to some of the most famous and replicated musical montages of all time, Rocky struggles to cope with the enormous pressure of the impending Creed fight while he dedicates his life to training. Meanwhile, he begins to fall in love with his local sweetheart, Adrian Pennino, who offers him support through the greatest challenge of his life.
