Plot

In the secluded heights of a luxury mountaintop mansion, ten strangers find themselves enveloped by an enigmatic mystery. Lured by the promise of an all-expense-paid weekend house party, eight diverse guests and two housekeepers, none of whom have ever met their elusive host, U.N. Owen, or each other, ascend the remote manor only accessible by gondola. The gathering includes Dr. Edward Armstrong, actress Ilona Bergen, private detective William Blore, Judge Arthur Cannon, Owen's fresh-faced assistant Ann Clyde, engineer Hugh Lombard, General John Mandrake, and pop sensation Mike Raven, alongside the Grohmanns, a husband and wife housekeeper duo. Their anticipation abruptly morphs into dread upon their arrival as Owen is conspicuously absent. Instead, a chilling tape-recorded message awaits them, casting a grim shadow over their weekend getaway. The mysterious Owen accuses each of them, including the Grohmanns, of being responsible for the death of an innocent person or causing a murder, crimes for which justice has been denied. The mansion is adorned with eerie references to the nursery rhyme 'Ten Little Indians', including a miniature statuary of ten little Indian figures. As the guests grapple with their past sins, the party takes a horrifying turn when one of them succumbs to arsenic poisoning. The victim, who admitted guilt before his demise, is symbolically represented by a missing Indian from the statuary. Stranded due to a gondola malfunction and faced with the grim reality of Owen's vengeful mission to execute each of them, paranoia begins to seep into their ranks. The dwindling number of survivors navigate through the mansion's grandeur, coming to a startling realization - the unseen Owen is one of them. As the body count rises, suspicion and fear intensify, casting a web of doubt against every remaining guest. With each passing death and missing statuette, they inch closer to uncovering the true identity of their murderous host.
