Plot

In the wake of their father's funeral, Clay Arlington, a humble construction worker from Needles, crosses paths with Vincent Towers, his affluent half-brother. Basking in the eerie resemblance they share, Clay is blissfully oblivious of Vincent's sinister plot. Vincent, determined to escape his past and start anew with their father's inheritance, trades identities with Clay, clothes and all, before sending him off in a car rigged with a bomb. Against all odds, Clay survives the deadly blast, his memory shattered, and his face reduced to a blank canvas. In the sterile confines of a hospital, Clay's face and bones are meticulously reconstructed by the brilliant Dr. Renee Descartes, using archived videos and photographs of Vincent as her guide. As his physical wounds heal, Clay finds himself submerged in Vincent's life, unknowingly assuming his brother's identity. All the while, he remains under the watchful eye of Lieutenant Weismann, the prime suspect in his father's dubious murder. As Clay navigates Vincent's world, he finds an unexpected solace in the arms of Dr. Descartes, their connection deepening into love. With the help of the supportive Dr. Max Shinoda, Clay's fractured memory slowly pieces itself back together, unveiling the chilling truth of his brother's betrayal. Ensnared in a life that's not his own, Clay must confront the daunting decision of which life to bury: the life he once knew, or the life he now lives.
