Plot
Wallace is struggling to make ends meet, so he decides to rent out the spare room in his home to a penguin. While the two almost immediately don't get along, the situation soon escalates to an untenable leave. Wallace has designed a pair of mechanized pants for walking his dog Gromit, but the penguin sees a way to use them for illicit purposes. He's actually a bank robber, and the trousers give him a way to get away with case without being seen. But while Wallace is oblivious to the situation, Gromit is fortunately willing to come to the rescue.
