Plot

In the bustling city of Dubai, Sandy and Phil, two expatriate workers, are caught in the whirlwind of their upcoming nuptials. Sandy's homecoming takes a chilling turn when her mother, Daisy, recounts the fate of her friend, Helen. Following her father's death, Helen's life crumbled when her new husband perished in a plane crash, and her subsequent demise in a grisly bus accident remains shrouded in mystery. Not long after, Helen's mother vanished within the confines of her own home, leaving no trace of her existence. Despite the morbid tale, Sandy presses on with her wedding, only to be haunted by the spectral image of a flower girl during the ceremony. The vision isn't exclusive to her; Maja, a clairvoyant relative, also reports seeing the ghostly child. The day's unease intensifies when news arrives that a van carrying some of the wedding party has met with an accident, leaving no bodies, but an ominously discarded bridal cord at the scene. As Sandy's loved ones start disappearing, the mystery deepens with the arrival of their wedding photos. The images reveal a chilling anomaly - the people who have vanished are depicted without heads, a grim harbinger of death. A revelation from Joya, a family friend, sends a shockwave through Sandy - she is the victim of a "sukob", a curse typically triggered by a recent death or wedding in the family. However, no such events have transpired in Sandy's family. Torn between disbelief and dread, Sandy embarks on a quest to uncover the truth, leading her to unearth a buried family secret. With time running out and the lives of her loved ones hanging in the balance, Sandy must unravel the curse's enigma and halt its deadly march before it claims everyone she cherishes.
