In a quaint town living under the shadow of a spine-chilling urban legend, the annual Scarecrow Festival brings more than just autumnal celebrations. School teacher Aaron Harris, tasked with disciplining six disparate students, finds himself at the heart of the resurrected terror. Among the students are the brooding Tyler, enigmatic Goth Nikki, athletic Daevon, and diligent Jun, all of whom are assigned to aid Aaron's former flame, Kristen, in salvaging her family farm from the brink of sale. Their mission seems straightforward until they find themselves entangled in the eerie allure of the surrounding cornfields, pulsating with a legend that Tyler gleefully narrates: an unstoppable entity that never sleeps, never dies, and thrives on the blood of its victims.
