In the twilight of the Shah era, love blossoms between Sahel, a gifted poet, and Mina, the daughter of affluence. Their idyllic world is intruded upon by Mina's driver, a man silently harbouring his unrequited love for her. As the winds of revolution sweep across Iran, he ascends to powerful ranks within the revolutionary movement, using his newfound authority to imprison the innocent lovers. Sahel is condemned to thirty years of solitude, while Mina endures a decade behind bars. Upon Mina's release, she is informed of Sahel's apparent demise. Heartbroken yet helpless, she accepts the driver's proposal to accompany him to the vibrant city of Istanbul, leaving her past behind. Meanwhile, Sahel languishes in his cell, his love for Mina his only solace in the face of relentless despair. Two decades later, Sahel emerges from his long incarceration into a world he barely recognizes. Driven by the lingering flame of his love, Sahel embarks on a poignant quest to find Mina. Unaware she believes him to be long dead, he navigates this unfamiliar reality, fuelled by the hope of reuniting with his lost love.
