Regression (2015)

It's Minnesota in 1991, and young Angela Gray has accused her father Bruce of abusing her. He claims to remember nothing of the incidents that Angela claims, but he admits his guilt anyway. Detective Bruce Kenner is sent to investigate ― but what initially seems like an open-and-shut case begins to demonstrate some strange inconsistencies. With the help of British psychiatrist Kenneth Raines, Kenner begins digging into his own memories in search of some answers. But as he starts to peel back the layers of his psyche, he makes disturbing revelations that make him question the very existence of his reality.
