In the quaint, close-knit town of Shemerville, a whirlwind of guilt, regret, and longing unfolds over the course of one fateful night. Our protagonist, the local scapegoat Robin, returns after a mysterious absence, his homecoming marked not by joyous reunions, but by an act of vandalism that lands him in the custody of Sheriff Quinn and his deputy, Ernie.
Haunted by the tragic death of his best friend Danny, Robin finds himself trapped within the four walls of a cell, yet free to wander through his tortured memories. One such memory, painted vividly on his mind, is a night of youthful recklessness by the river.
