Plot

Haunted by the horrors of war, John, a battle-weary veteran, returns to the seedy underbelly of Los Angeles, forever scarred by his traumatic stint in Iraq. His attempted retreat into a tranquil, isolated life is shattered when violence descends upon his doorstep. Caught in the act of brutalizing a local call girl, a vicious crew of Aryan Brotherhood pimps meet John's pent-up fury, leaving the ranks of the brotherhood significantly thinned. John's heroic intervention, however, is not without consequence. Hollis, the brutal and unforgiving chieftain of the gang, seeks revenge, igniting a deadly game of cat and mouse. The serenity John managed to cultivate amidst his PTSD-ridden reality crumbles as he and his family become the prime targets of a ruthless criminal empire. In Puncture Wounds, the battlegrounds may have changed from the deserts of Iraq to the grimy streets of L.A., but for John, the fight for peace never ends. His struggle is not just against his inner demons, but also against the palpable menace that threatens his world. The movie is a stark exploration of survival, resilience, and the price one pays for doing what is right.
