Primitive (2011)

In the chilling echoes of the horror film set where he works, special effects maestro, Martin Blaine, lands a punch on his director, triggering an unsettling journey into the labyrinth of his anger. A hypnotist's office becomes his sanctuary, an attempt to tame the beast within. However, tranquility is short-lived as a cryptic message shatters the calm - his long-estranged mother has died under bewildering circumstances. Returning to his rural roots in Baronville, a town of mere 3800 souls, Martin finds himself in a macabre reality resembling his worst nightmares.
