Deep in the heart of Echo Mountain, within the shadowy reaches of Pine Creek, a trio of poachers meet their grisly end at the hands of an unseen predator. The sole survivor, Ed, fuels his revenge by assembling an illicit hunting party, determined to track and kill the beast. Simultaneously, high schoolers Rich and Jay are tasked with a biology project on endangered species.
