Plot

In the chilling heart of Manila, Nilalang unfolds the terrifying tale of Tony (Cesar Montano), a seasoned agent of the NBI's special crimes division. His life takes a haunting twist when he crosses paths with an insidious entity, a malevolent spirit that revels in the torment and death of beautiful women, one of whom was his own beloved. This ghastly force, believed to have been vanquished years ago, resurfaces with a vengeance, sending ripples of fear through Tony's world. His partner Jane (Meg Imperial), who secretly harbors feelings for him, along with others close to him, now lie within the deathly grasp of this spectral menace. Across the waters in Japan, a similar dread looms over the life of Miyuki (Maria Ozawa), an heiress shouldering a family business in the shadow of a transnational crime syndicate. When her younger sister disappears and their father is found dead under mysterious circumstances, Miyuki is thrust into the sinister web of these gruesome murders. The ancient curse, whispered to be borne by a specific samurai clan and responsible for the blood-drenched history of killings in Japan, now seems to be reaching its cold hands towards the women of Manila. As the body count rises, Tony and Miyuki find themselves reluctantly united in a chilling race against time. Their mission - to decipher the centuries-old curse and halt the relentless killing spree of an evil that transcends time and borders. In 'Nilalang', the worlds of law enforcement and criminal underbelly collide in a chilling tableau of death, love, and ancient curses. As the line between the natural and supernatural blurs, the stakes have never been higher, and the fight for survival has never been more desperate.
