In the shadowy corners of London's red light district, Vincent Monroe, a young man ensnared by a blood addiction, prowls the night, quenching his thirst on the lonely and forgotten, their lifeless bodies sinking into the murky depths of the Thames. His isolated existence is disrupted when the intoxicating Ruby Stone, a captivating stripper, crosses his path in a late-night coffee shop, igniting an immediate, passionate connection.
Their magnetic attraction leads to a heated encounter that spirals out of control as Vincent succumbs to his primal urge, sinking his fangs into Ruby's delicate neck. Terrified and confused, Ruby flees from Vincent's apartment, returning to the seedy nightclub where she is relentlessly pursued by a deranged pimp, fixated on possessing her.
When Vincent stumbles upon Ruby unconscious in a desolate alley, he is confronted with the chilling realization that he has transformed her into a creature of the night. Stricken with guilt, but bound by their shared curse, Ruby convinces Vincent to abandon his bloodthirsty habits and journey with her to Edinburgh in search of a cure.
However, the relentless pimp, a sadist with a trail of fifteen victims in his wake, has uncovered their hideaway and begins to haunt Ruby. In this nocturnal world of danger and desire, Vincent and Ruby's love story unfolds, as they must confront their darkest fears while being hunted by a sinister predator.
