Michael Jennings makes his living by figuring out how things work. Clients from around the world hire him to dismantle and reconstruct the latest technology of their rivals. It's a lucrative job, but it turns into a costly one when he finishes a job only to wake up remembering nothing about it. Even worse, it turns out that he's being hunted for whatever it was he did. Jennings' only clue is a collection of 19 options that are supposed to present him with the memories he needs when they're properly combined. But he won't have much time, as he's being chased by both the authorities and more sinister forces.
