Plot

Sean Boswell competes in a street race against a classmate. The other driver causes a wreck to avoid losing, and Sean is blamed for the damages. He's sent to live with his father in Japan to avoid jailtime. From there, Sean makes a friend named Twinkie and is introduced to drift racing. Sean competes against Drift King Takashi and wrecks a car while losing the race. He repays the debt of the wrecked car working for Han. Han soon after teaches Sean how to drift. After mastering the drift, Sean and Han find themselves embattled with the Yakuza over various matters that must be handled.
