Plot

In the arid desert, a chilling operation of child trafficking is thwarted by the army, leaving one perpetrator in their custody. Enter Frank Salek, an Interpol agent grappling with addiction and the ghosts of his past, who arrives to interrogate the captive. But the situation spirals as the detainee ensnares Salek's partner, leading to his own abrupt death. Amid the chaos, Salek unearths three names from the prisoner's damaged cell phone, sparking a trail of intrigue. Simultaneously, in France, Laura Bernheim, the President of the International Court, is locked in a high-stakes pursuit of the Blackstream Army, a malevolent organization cloaked in protection from global authorities. Meanwhile, in the heart of Paris, esteemed detective Lionel Kasdan, burdened by the passing of his wife, is summoned to a peculiar crime scene. The church choir's regent, Goetz Willhen, is found lifeless with the eerie traces of children's footprints and blood stains surrounding him. As Kasdan delves into his independent investigation, he uncovers the unexpected layers to Goetz's life – a Chilean heritage, a hidden homosexuality, and a clandestine affair with a young man named Naciro. When Salek discovers Goetz's name among the ones he found, he finds himself on a flight to Paris, setting the stage for an unlikely partnership. Together, Salek and Kasdan unravel a sinister plot, the threads of which lead back to Laura Bernheim. Each revelation pulls them deeper into a labyrinth of malevolence where every corner turned could be their last. The plot thickens as they race against time to thwart a devastating plan, the stakes higher than they ever imagined.
