Plot
Johnny Rico is a young man on a far-future Earth that has been joined under one large federation. He follows the girl he is in love with into the military, the only way to attain citizenship. After their families are killed in an attack by giant spiders on the city of Buenos Aires, Johnny and his fellow soldiers are sent to their planet to fight back.
