It's the 1930's and one man is frantically working on a truly important screenplay. That man is Herman J. Mankiewicz. He's also known as Mank. His latest work will change film history. Citizen Kane is Orson Welles's vision. Mank is with there with him in the middle of a mansion in the desert. He has to work with Welles and help him create a screenplay that will bring to life the ideals he hopes dear. This is one film that brings us into a known but vaguely unfamiliar world. It is more than worth it to be with this character.
