Barton Fink (1991)

Barton Fink, a 1940s New York City playwright, has been hired to write for Hollywood, but he's got writer's block. There also seems to be something strange about the Earle, the hotel where he's staying. It's too hot, and another guest, the traveling salesman Charlie Meadows, makes too much noise. Fink continues to struggle with his script—the studio head wants a wrestling picture—but then events take a gruesome, deadly turn.
