Plot
Guido Anselmi is a film director suffering from "director's block." His personal life is also in turmoil. Anselmi's health is failing, and his relationship with his wife is going downhill. Even Carla, Anselmi's mistress, seems to be growing more distant. Anselmi reflects on all of these problems in a series of flashbacks and fantasies that are interspersed with current events.
