In the heart of the tranquil Amish community, young and radiant Emma Miller (Danielle Chuchran) seems to be blessed with fortune's favor. She is the apple of her loving family's eye and the object of affection for the town's most sought-after bachelor, Jacob (Kellen Boyle). Yet, behind her Amish bonnet and amidst the clatter of horse-drawn buggies, Emma harbors a secret obsession with Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and a restless yearning for far-flung adventures and the thrill of the unknown. Opportunity strikes when Emma is invited to spend a season assisting her widowed cousin Lydia (Meg Wittman) in the picturesque town of Charm, OH. Here, she crosses paths with the intriguing outsider, librarian Kelly Bennett (Tiffany Dupont), who has sought refuge in Charm to escape her tumultuous life. Despite their starkly contrasting backgrounds, an unlikely yet profound friendship blossoms between the two. As Emma settles into the rhythmic life on her cousin's farm, she encounters Noah (Trevor Donovan), a well-read and enigmatic Amish lad who lends a hand on the farm. Simultaneously perplexing and captivating, Noah leaves Emma torn between her roots and the allure of the unknown.
