Plot
Eddie Mora is a struggling New York writer who can’t finish his book as his life and relationships fall apart. Unfocused and drifting, Eddie’s life takes a dramatic turn when a friend gives him a new drug to help him focus. It turns out the pill is an advanced nootropic concoction called NZT-48. It supercharges Eddie’s brain and makes him a genius. He completes his book in days and lands a lucrative publishing contract. However, trouble looms when his NZT-48-supplying friend is murdered. Eddie discovers the brain-boosting pill is connected to a dangerous conspiracy of powerful people.
