Vamps (2012)

In the twilight-lit cityscape of Manhattan, we meet Goody and Stacy, two vampires cohabitating in a shared apartment, navigating their nocturnal lifestyle of work and study. Goody, a creature of the night since 1840, was transformed into a vampire by the malevolent Cisserus, who later bestows the same fate on Stacy in the 90s. Their bond is as thick as blood, but Goody keeps the secret of her age well hidden from her friend. Their diet consists of mice blood, a choice driven by their refusal to consume human blood, a decision that leads them to the brotherhood of Vampire Anonymous. Stacy's life takes an unexpected turn when she falls for her classmate Joey, oblivious to the fact that he's the progeny of the renowned vampire hunter, Dr. Van Helsing. In a parallel narrative, Goody encounters Danny, a former flame, in a hospital where his wife lies on her deathbed. The plot thickens as Stacy finds herself expecting a child. Goody, aware that the child's survival hinges on the demise of Cisserus, understands that such a feat would restore them to their human ages. The challenge, however, lies in locating the elusive lair of the dangerous Cisserus.
