L'Avventura (1960)

In the shimmering world of the Italian elite, Anna, a woman of wealth and beauty, grapples with her ambivalent feelings towards her suitor, Sandro. To escape the monotony of high society, Anna, her lover Sandro, and a select group of their affluent friends, including her closest confidant Claudia, embark on a yacht journey along the picturesque Sicilian coast. Their curiosity leads them to an uninhabited, volcanic island, a stark contrast to their lavish lifestyle. As they prepare to depart from this desert isle, a sudden shift in the weather is accompanied by a startling discovery - Anna has disappeared.
