In the heart of Manhattan, a tangled web of splintered affections is woven. Halley, a woman devoted to Dag, finds herself grappling with his philandering past, which he insists he has renounced. Dag's confidant, Peter, harbors his own affectionate turmoil. He is smitten with Rebecca, a spirited dancer who, unknown to Peter, is on a path of self-destruction and promiscuity.
