Glory Daze (1995)

The sands of time are trickling through the hourglass for Jack and his close-knit crew, with graduation looming ominously on the horizon. As the sun sets on their idyllic four years in Santa Cruz, each member of the group faces their own crossroads. Rob is trading the coastal breeze for the Hollywood hills with his sweetheart, while intellectual Dennis is bound for Michigan, lured by the promise of further academic pursuits. Slosh, the group's wild card, has abandoned academia in favor of hedonistic indulgence, while the introspective Mickey is struggling under the weight of unspoken love for his friend Chelsea. As the threads of their friendship look set to unravel, Jack finds himself on the precipice of an existential crisis. He gazes back at the tapestry of their shared university experience, and a creeping doubt begins to color his perspective. Could these be the golden days, the pinnacle of their lives, soon to be lost forever in the rush to chase adulthood? Haunted by the specter of regret, Jack finds himself reluctant to step off the precipice into the uncharted territory of life after college. As his friends begin to navigate their own futures, Jack makes a radical decision: he's not ready to surrender his glory days. The story follows Jack's quest to cling to the vestiges of youth, even as the rest of his world moves on.
